Experience the beauty of the Barbara Hepworth Museum & Sculpture Garden in Cornwall this year

Here, at Brightwater Holidays, we love taking you to places that will leave you with lasting memories, and the Barbara Hepworth Museum & Sculpture Garden in Cornwall is one of them. Interestingly, today marks the anniversary of her birth in 1903.

An English Modernist artist and sculptor, Barbara Hepworth was a leading creative in the bustling seaside town of St. Ives in Cornwall, after relocating there as a result of the outbreak of WWII in 1939. Following her death, her home and studio in the town was converted into the Barbara Hepworth Museum, which guests on the Arts & Gardens in Cornwall tour will enjoy a visit to.

This 5-day cultural holiday will depart on either 11th May or 4th September, and if you book before February 2nd you can take advantage of our January offer, which means the trip will cost just £845pp instead of the usual £895pp. Both departure dates will see you enjoying a 4-night stay at the Lanhydrock Hotel and Golf Club, which boasts charming views and modern en-suite rooms.

In addition to spending a morning at the Barbara Hepworth Museum & Sculpture Garden, this holiday will also stop at the fabulous Tate Gallery (winner of the prestigious 2018 Museum of the Year award), Falmouth Art Gallery and the fine Lanhydrock Gardens. There is also a privileged visit to Tregothan, open to the public just twice per year, and a tour of Trewithen, a beautiful space named as Gardeners’ World star Carol Klein as her favourite Cornish garden. Additionally, you will be treated to stops at the National Trust property of Godolphin House, the Tremenheere Sculpture Garden and Gertrude Jekyll’s Hestercombe.
