Steam into 2021 with our new Caledonian Days tour

Is there anything better than chugging along a scenic railway in the charming carriage of a steam train as the world glides by? We have created a new rail tour for 2021, a four-day Caledonian Days vacation.

Beginning at the Bo’ness and Kinneil Railway, you’ll enjoy an authentic steam-hauled train journey and a visit to the Riverside Museum of Transport and Travel in Glasgow. From here, take a train to Wemyss Bay and a modern-day ‘steamer’ across the Firth of Clyde to Rothesay. Elsewhere, you’ll take a stunning journey along the West Highland railway to the bustling harbour town of Oban, retuning via coach along the route of the Callander and Oban railway line.

To find out more about this vacation, just wait for our brand new 2021 preview brochure to arrive – it's on its way!
