If you’re looking for a once-in-a-lifetime kind of trip to take in the new year, we have just the thing with two very special holidays that you can only experience in 2020. The first is the World Association of Flower Arranging’s showpiece event, which takes place once every three years. In 2020, it will be held in the vibrant Indian city of Jaipur and we can take you there. Our nine-day itinerary will treat you to two full days at the WAFA event, but it will also take you to the Taj Mahal, the Amber Fort, the stunning Lodi Gardens and even to the Maharajah’s City Palace, which Is still used by Jaipur’s royal family today.

Or, grab the chance to witness the Oberammergau Passion Play in Bavaria, which takes place just once per decade. 2020 will mark the 42^nd performance and it started back in 1634 after villagers vowed to recreate the story of Christ’s life, death and resurrection if they were spared the deadly plague. Along with sitting down to watch this iconic performance, you’ll also ride the historic Zillertal Steam Railway, explore the delights of Salzburg and pay a visit to Emperor Maximillian I’s Golden Roof.
