Peter Yeoman

Peter Yeoman was, until recently, Head of Cultural Heritage at Historic Scotland, with responsibility for the archaeology and the knowledge base for the estate of 345 properties in their care.

He wrote the new official guidebooks for Iona Abbey, Stirling Castle and Edinburgh Castle, contributed to the Lonely Planet guide to Scotland, and teaches blue badge guides. He has travelled extensively in Italy, studying the archaeology and history in the course of his work.
